Visual Arts Practice

I have worked with houses all my life in one form or another.  As a child, I often explored derelict houses, or visited historic homes and places throughout New Zealand with my family.

As a contract museum curator, I began to look at the kind of objects we put into our homes, and how they affect not just us, but also the character of the house.

As an artist, the house in painted form appears as humanist in my work - interpreting my observations on New Zealand’s social scene, and theories and thoughts of life in New Zealand.
